Meet the Directors

We have a team of two co-directors who share the duties of helping our Catholic Schoolhouse chapter run smoothly. They may all be contacted at landerwy@catholicschoolhouse.com if you have any questions.

Jackie Olsson, Co-Director and Supplies Coordinator

Jackie has ten children and has been homeschooling for over 15 years. She has been a director of the Lander Catholic Schoolhouse chapter since it began, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to gather weekly with other Catholic homeschooling families. When she’s not busy wrangling any number of children, Jackie loves cooking, reading, and the daily NYT crossword puzzle. She is grateful for the CSH community, and especially enjoys the hands-on art and science activities that are introduced every week! Jackie looks forward to helping the Lander chapter in its mission to continue supporting local Catholic homeschooling families.

Maria Preble,  Co-Director and Tutor Coordinator

Maria has 4 children, has been homeschooling them for 4 years, and has the advantage of being homeschooled herself, from grades 3-12. She loves being with her kids, and tailoring their education to their unique interests and current obsessions, to cultivate their love of learning! She is so grateful to have found Catholic Schoolhouse to further enrich the schooling at home. The best part about attending CSH is that every student learns the same material at their level, furthering family learning and togetherness. In her free time Maria makes pottery and has an at-home ceramics studio in which she loves to host pottery nights!
